Installation

When moving the appliance once it is indoors, grasp it firmly and tilt it back no

more than 45 degrees. The two rear roller feet allow it to be moved easily when

tilted slightly. Never use the door handle as a support. Never turn the unit upside

down or place it horizontally.

1. Install the refrigerator on a flat, solid surface so as to minimize vibration and

noise.

2. Allow for a free flow of air around the unit. A clearance of no less than 2½

inches must be left on all sides of the refrigerator.

3. Choose a location where there is no heat source nearby. Keep the refrigerator

away from direct sunlight, ovens, radiators, etc.

4. Choose a dry, well-ventilated place that is free of corrosive vapors.

Testing Before Use

1. Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces of the refrigerator with clear, lukewarm

water mixed with a little mild detergent. Wipe dry.

NOTE: Electrical components must only be wiped with a clean, dry cloth.

2. Turn the thermostat knob to the "3" position, then turn on the power. The

compressor should start and the light inside the refrigerator should turn on.

Close the door.

3. Check the refrigerator 30 minutes later. If the temperature on the back wall

has decreased noticeably, the refrigerator is working properly.
