6- Using a die grinder, clearance the cylinder until you can freely move the blocks when the cylinder is set onto the case. Remove only enough
material so that cylinder will slide on and blocks move freely.
NOTE: It may be necessary to repeat this process a few times rather than removing a lot of material unnecessarily in one fitting.
7- After cylinder has been clearanced so that blocks move freely remove cylinder and install hold down springs into alignment blocks.
8- Install pistons and cylinder per Polaris® manual. If installing new pistons use instructions supplied with the pistons for proper ring gapping and
to determine what side of rings should face up.
NOTE: Install one circlip in each piston before installing it in the cylinder. Put installed clip side of piston towards center of cylinder. Make sure to cover
case to avoid dropping clips in.
