3- After installing the cam in the case per Polaris® manual. Put some tape or protective caps on the tops of the rods to avoid scratching the
cylinders when taking the cylinder on and off for clearancing the cylinder for the anti rotation blocks.
NOTE: Make sure to use a good quality assembly lube when installing the cam and lifters.
4- A slight bit of clearancing will need to be done on the base gasket in location shown above. Move block as far as you can toward gasket and
scribe around block onto gasket remove gasket material with a die grinder to line. Be careful to only remove minimum amount of gasket to
clear the block.
5- Gently slide cylinder into place over tappet alignment blocks and remove. You should see marks in the areas indicated in Pictures 4 and 5.
NOTE:
You can use a magic marker to darken these areas to more easily see where the blocks are hitting.
