5- Loosen the hose clamp attaching the rubber boot to the throttle body with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. See Picture 5.
6- Using a plier’s remove the large and small hose clamps and pull each hose off the adapter. See Picture 6.
7- Remove the adaptor from the throttle body and remove the rubber boot from the plastic part. The rubber boot will be used in assembling the
S&S air cleaner. See Picture 7.
8- Push the rubber boot into the aluminum back plate as shown. Make sure the rubber adaptor is fully seated and positioned correctly.
