Reset Switch
Not Working
•
The buzzer does not
silence when you
press the reset
switch.
•
The alarm 1 or
alarm 2 circuit does
not reset when you
press the reset
switch after the
alarm condition
passes.
•
The reset switch is
disconnected or
misconnected.
•
The reset switch is
malfunctioning.
1.
Verify that the wiring to the ALARM
RESET (2) terminals of the Alarm/
Controller Terminal Strip is correct and
secure.
2.
If the reset switch difficulties continue,
contact RKI for further instruction.
If Installed,
Option Strobe
Not Working
•
The strobe does not
flash when an alarm
1 or alarm 2
condition occurs.
•
The strobe does not
flash when a fail
condition occurs.
•
The strobe is not
setup to activate in an
alarm 1 or alarm 2
condition.
•
The strobe is not
connected to the
strobe terminal strip
properly.
•
The strobe is
malfunctioning.

Verify that the strobe is setup properly for
the desired alarm operation in
Configuration Mode. See “Chapter 5:
Configuration Mode” on page 26.
2.
Verify that the strobe is wired properly to
the strobe terminal strip. The red wire goes
to the + terminal and the black wire goes
to the - terminal.
