Metal and Plastic Parts
Metal and plastic parts on the Orbit Base may be wiped clean with a mild
soap and water solution. Do not use household detergents, such as bleach or
abrasive agents. These detergents can weaken plastic parts.
LATCH Strap and Connectors
The LATCH Strap and Connectors may be spot cleaned.
SmartHub, Rotational Check Mechanism, & Hub Locks
Keep the Base’s SmartHub and Rotational Check Mechanisms clean and free
of foreign material. As well, keep the Hub Locks on the Orbit carseat clean and
free of foreign material in order for the Orbit carseat to lock properly. Do not al-
low any liquids to enter these areas.
