Series 505 HPU Lift & Move Instructions

Lifting the Model 505.60/.180 HPU in the middle of its chassis can strain the
structural integrity of the HPU.
Improper handling can cause significant damage to an HPU.
Do not lift the HPU in the middle of its chassis.
505.60/.180—If using an overhead lift—Wrap slings under the HPU
base and attach them to a spreader bar.
If using forklifts or pallet jacks—Lift the HPU from the ends.
CAUTION
When moving the HPU with an overhead
lift, use a spreader bar to help balance
the weight.
Use two separate
straps to avoid
slippage.
