14 Preparing to ascend the pole.
1. Grasp cam bracket sub-assembly with left hand and grasp
carabiner sub-assembly with right hand as shown above.
2. Lean in toward pole to allow slack in the Wood Pole Fall
Restrict Device (WPFRD) as shown.
15 Ascending the pole
1. Hold the cam bracket sub-assembly in the left hand and
carabiner sub-assembly in the right hand, pull apart the
Wood Pole Fall Restrict Device (WPFRD) as shown.
2. Slide Wood Pole Fall Restrict Device (WPFRD) up the pole.
3. Step up the pole.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until desired work position has
been reached.
16 Descending the pole
1. Hold the cam bracket sub-assembly in the left hand and
carabiner sub-assembly in the right hand, pull apart the
Wood Pole Fall Restrict Device (WPFRD) as shown.
2. Slide Wood Pole Fall Restrict Device (WPFRD) down the pole.
3. Step down the pole.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until desired work position has
been reached.
NOTE: Do NOT place fingers between carabiner sub-assembly
and pole as shown.
