1. Fit the two curved top tubes (A) to the

four central leg tubes (B) with the
moisture protection sleeves (E). Slide the
moisture protection sleeves half way onto
the joints of the curved top tubes before
pushing the central leg tubes into the
sleeves and joints.

2. Connect three rings (D) to the completed

top section using assembly screws (G).
Place finial (H) on top of the assembly,
insert finial retaining screw (I) through
the top of the flattened top tubes and
into the base of the finial. Tighten screw.
You will now have a completed top
assembly including finial and ring.

3. Connect the four remaining lower leg

tubes (C) to the completed top assembly.
Slide the moisture protection sleeves half
way onto the joints of the central leg
tubes before pushing the lower leg tubes
into the sleeves and joints.

4. Place assembled obelisk in desired

location and mark the leg positions on
the ground. Remove obelisk and drive
ground hole maker (E) to a recommended
depth of approximately 0.45m (1' 6").
Insert legs into holes and firm earth
around to secure.

Helpful hints:

You may find it easier to assemble your
obelisk horizontally on its side and then
carefully stand it upright to install.

Before assembling the obelisk, use one of
the plastic rings as a template to mark
out the 4 leg positions in the desired
location. This will aid fitting.

Soaking the moisture protection sleeves
in warm water for a few minutes prior to
fitting will make them more malleable
and will aid fitting.
