back into the AC power again. In a few seconds, the display will be ON, and then press the DST button to display 12:00. Now repeat the procedure
to reset the real time memory above. After you have completed the time setting procedure, insert the Insta-Set battery (lithium button cell) and
the time will be automatically stored in the clock.
BATTERY BACKUP FOR ALARM (9V BATTERY NOT INCLUDED):
Install one 9V alkaline battery in compartment using the battery connecter. Note this battery can be installed without disconnecting the clock
power. If the power fails, the 9V battery back up will automatically continue alarm operation but the display will disappear. During a power outage,
the alarm will sound at the set time. The duration for the battery backup is 12 Hours. When the power is restored the display digits will reappear
with the correct time.
INSTA-SET BATTERY REPLACEMENT
A backup button cell battery that will last up to 3 years maintains the Insta-Set real time. To maintain the Insta-Set feature, we recommend this
button cell battery be replaced approximately every 3 years. The replacement battery is a CR2032 (3V) button cell battery that is available at most
stores that carry the button cell batteries. We recommend buying the name brand CR2032 (lithium) button cell battery (ie. Maxell, Toshiba,
Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Sony & Panasonic etc.) . When changing the battery, the AC power must be on or have a 9V battery installed. However, if you do
lose the Insta-Time, please see the procedure to reset the real time memory above.
