REMOTE CONTROL MASTER
STREAM NOZZLES
INSTALLATION:
Thread the Inlet Swivel onto the 2.5" NHT male discharge outlet of an Elkhart Brass
elevated monitor. Position the Nozzle so the raised boson the nozzle body is at the six
o
’clock position pointing down and screw the swivel down and tighten with a spanner
wrench. Position the Nozzle Tip so the control cable loops are hanging down. Attach
one of the swivel snap hooks from the long nozzle control cable assembly to one of the
cable loops on the nozzle. Attach the other swivel snap hook to the remaining loop on
the nozzle.
OPERATION:
When facing the same direction as the nozzle discharge, pulling the cable on the right
will move the nozzle tip forward into the straight stream position. Pulling the cable on
the left will move the nozzle tip back into the wide fog position.
MAINTENANCE:
Inspect the nozzle monthly. Check the nozzle for any signs of damage or contamination
from bird or insect nests. Check the operation by moving the nozzle tip through its entire
range of motion several times. Grease the nozzle through the Grease Fitting after each
use or every six months. Use a general purpose waterproof petroleum based grease.
Apply the grease with the nozzle in the wide fog position. The nozzle does not require
much grease; two or three squirts from a grease gun should be adequate. Move the
nozzle tip through its entire range of motion several times to spread the grease around.
Place the nozzle in the wide fog position when not in use to limit exposure of the
greased surfaces to the elements and to contaminants that may be attracted by the
grease.
