Removing the
transport bolts

CAUTION

All 4 transport bolts must be
removed before using the apĆ
pliance for the first time and
must be retained for any futuĆ
re transport (e.g. when
moving).
q Release screws using a cranked
1/2" wrench provided until they
can be moved freely.
q Remove all 4 transport bolts
(bolt, spring, washer and bushĆ
ings) by reaching through the
open washing machine door and
pulling the drum slightly forward.
q Insert the covers.
Storing the transport bolts
Always keep the transport bolts for
future transportation of the apĆ
pliance (such as when moving out).
q Store the transport bolts with
the washer and bushing atĆ
tached.
Leveling procedure
Each foot of the appliance must be
placed firmly on the ground or the
pedestal to prevent the washing
machine from wobbling.
Level the washing machine front to
back and side to side with the four
heightĆadjustable feet and a bubble
level:

q Loosen the counter nut 1 using
the wrench for levelling.
q Adjust the height by turning the
heightĆadjustable foot 2.
q Tighten lock nut 1 against the
housing.
Electrical connection
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded.
In the event of a malfunction or
breakdown, grounding will reduce
the risk of electrical shock by proĆ
viding a path of least resistance for
the electric current. This appliance
features a cord with an equipmentĆ
grounding conductor and a groundĆ
ing plug. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate outlet which has
been properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all loĆ
cal regulations and ordinances.
