Selecting sound presets

You can select sound presets for the
following music types.

●

VOCAL (“VOCL”)

●

DISCO (“DISC”)

●

ROCK

●

TECHNO (“TECH”)

●

CLASSIC (“CLAS”)

The settings for these music styles have
already been programmemed.

Press the DEQ+ button

➮

Press the softkey

assigned to

the “PRE” display item.

➮

Select one of the presets using the
corresponding softkeys

➮

Press the joystick OK

or the

DEQ+ button

to close the

menu.

The settings are saved.

Manually adjusting the equalizer

Notes on adjusting the settings

We recommend you use a CD or cas-
sette (depending on the car radio’s
equipment) that you are familiar with for
making changes to the settings.

Before adjusting the equalizer, set the
sound and volume distribution settings
to zero and deactivate X-BASS. For fur-
ther details, refer to the chapter entitled
“Sound and volume distribution set-
tings”.

Listen to a CD or cassette (de-
pending on the car radio’s equip-
ment).

Now read the “Sound impression”
column in the table entitled “Help
adjusting the equalizer”.

Set the equalizer values as de-
scribed in the “Measures” column.
