1. To display the ELLIPSE METER DISPLAY MODE, select and enter [ELLIPSE METER] by

scrolling up or down at the MAIN MENU.

2. The first monitoring item’s digital display shows the present value and the peak value. The

second monitoring Item’s digital display shows the preset value and it also can be concealed

3. The ELLIPSE METER DISPLAY MODE displays the first monitoring item’s value.

4. Monitoring item configuration method

z Press the ENTER button and it will select on the first monitoring item (Ex 2: TACHO).

Scroll Up or Down to select the desired monitoring item, then press ENTER to confirm.

z By pressing downward it will scroll from [

①Vehicle speed] to [

⑱ Exhaust temperature

] and backwards.

z After setting the first monitoring item, it will automatically go to setup the second

monitoring item. (Ex 2: WATER)

z Scroll Up or Down to select the desired second monitoring item, then press ENTER to

confirm.

※ By pressing downward it will scroll from [

①Vehicle speed] ～ [

⑱ Exhaust

temperature sensor

] and backwards. Moreover, it can conceal the second

monitoring item.

※ While setting the second monitored item, pressing downwards will display from [①

Vehicle speed] ～ [⑱ Exhaust temperature sensor] → [first monitoring item scale]

→ [second monitoring item BLKN] → and back again to [①Vehicle speed]

z After setting the second monitoring item, the ellipse meter’s max value will be selected.

z Press UP or DOWN to select the ellipse meter’s scale (RPM = X 100); then, press ENTER

to confirm the scale.

z The ELLIPSE METER DISPLAY MODE will start to monitor and display

z It will go to the prior step by pressing the left button.

[Warning] The R-VIT will go back to its prior monitoring state by keeping it for over 5 seconds without

any operation. However, the changes will take place.

5. Operation Method. (It is the same as the Needle Meter Method)
