NOTICE Water is not recommended for use with the 6-inch Trim Saw. The steel arbor shaft can rust.
In addition, poor sawing performance and short blade life can result.
Motor Mounts and Belt Tension
1. Check the four motor mounting nuts to insure they are tight and the motor is secure (see Figure 7).

2. The V-belt is adjusted and tensioned at the factory. However, if the motor mounts should become
loose during shipping or usage, readjust the motor mounting nuts so that no more than 1/2" (12.7
mm) of belt deflection occurs when the belt is depressed by fingertip pressure (see Figure 8).
