8.1.1 COM input configuration
Upon activation of COM2, read-in data are automatically passed on to an active application that uses
port COM2.
Information:
Unneeded applications that use port COM2 must be ended before executing
the COM input configuration. Due to different types of programming, the data
are displayed differently in different editors, such as Notepad or Word.
8.1.2 Write Filter
The Write Filter applications are tools made available by Microsoft that are used in embedded operating
systems.
