PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Start installation under the passenger side front of the vehicle. Locate the round factory hole in the
bottom of the rocker panel closest to the front tire opening, (Figure 1). Remove the rubber plug. NOTE:
Only install this Bracket kit at the passenger side-front location next to the diesel exhaust fluid tank.
3. Select the 10mm Bolt Plate, (Figure 2A). Insert the Bolt Plate into the hole in the rocker panel, (Figure
2B). Thread the Plastic Retainer onto the threaded end of the Bolt Plate to help hold the Bolt Plate in
place. Select the "L" Support Bracket. Attach the short end of the "L" Bracket to the Bolt Plate with (1)
10mm Flat Washer, (1) 10mm Lock Washer and (1) 10mm Hex Nut. Leave hardware loose at this time.
4. Next, select (1) 8mm Clip Nut from the Sidebar installation kit, (Figure 3). Slide the Clip Nut onto the
mounting tab as described in the Sidebar installation instructions. Select the Sidebar Mounting
Bracket. Hang the Bracket from the Clip Nut with (1) 8mm Flat Washer, (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1)
8mm Hex Bolt, (Figure 4). Do not tighten hardware at this time.
5. Bolt the Mounting Bracket to the back of the Support Bracket with (1) 10mm Hex Bolt, (2) 10mm Flat
Washers and (1) 10mm Lock Washer, (Figure 4). Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.
