PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Start by removing the 2 bolts per side securing Factory Tie down and Tow hook to vehicle
they are located just under the front of vehicle, between the frame rail and the skid shield,
(
NOTE
: Only Tow hook will be re-attached).
3. Starting with the Passenger/Right side mounting bracket, place the mounting bracket between
the frame Rail followed by the Tow hook,
NOTE:
Tow hook needs to be installed backward re
install with factory bolts secure to vehicle, (Fig 1) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this
time.
4. Moving to the Driver/Left side mounting brackets place Bracket to frame followed by the factory
bolts secure to vehicle, Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
5. Begin to attach Bull Bar to mounting brackets with (1) 1/2" X 2” hex bolt, (1) 1/2" flat washer,
and (1) 1/2" lock washer per side, Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
6. Level and align Bull Bar properly; then tighten all hardware at this time.
7. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
