DIESEL TRUCK INSTRUCTIONS
• The reason it takes additional procedures is because
the intercooler is in the way from getting the bolt
plate out.
• Start by removing the top plastic fan shroud. (use a flat
head screw driver, ice pick, or the correct tool to use
would be a body panel tool to pull the plastic retainers
out)

• Unbolt the four screws that hold the tranny cool
down.

• Unscrew the hose clamps on both sides of the inter-
cooler.

• Unbolt the intercooler

• Unbolt the radiator.

• Pull the plastic clips out of the bottom of the bumper

• Now clearance the radiator for the intercooler so you
can pull the bolt plate out (if this procedure is fighting
you, check to make sure you have all the bolts out and
everything is out of it’s retainers).
