Xserve (Late 2006) Riser Blank Instructions
Removing the Installed Riser Blank
Loosen the two captive screws that secure the riser bracket to the back panel.
Carefully pull up on the bracket and riser to disconnect the riser card from the logic board.
Captive screws
Remove the screw on the riser bracket and remove the riser blank.
Installing the Replacement Riser Blank
Install the replacement riser blank in the riser card and secure it with the mounting screw.
Align the riser card with its slot on the logic board and press to seat the card.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the riser bracket to the back panel.
