Detection Sensitivity
This option is programmed from the Zone Setup
menu. It defines the difference in luminance between
an object and its background which is required to
produce an alarm. The following chart may be used as
a guide to arrive at the correct setting:

NOTE: A Sensitivity Setting of 3 (Medium High) will
work well for most installations.

Percentage Movement For Detection
This option is programmed from the Zone Setup
menu. It defines the percentage of total screen width or
height that the target must cross before the LTC 2210
Series will generate an alarm signal. The following
chart may be used as a guide to arrive at the correct
setting:

NOTE: A movement setting of 2 (10% Normal
movement/normal field of view) will work well for
most installations.

Beeper
ON/OFF
If ON, the beeper will
sound when motion is
detected.
AlarmReset
MANUAL/AUTO
AUTO: Upon alarm, the
alarm beeper, LED and
relay will reset
automatically after a
predetermined interval in
alarm, as determined by
the alarm dwell time.
MANUAL: The ALM CLR
button on the front panel
must be pressed to reset
the alarm.
Motion Tracer ON/OFF
If ON, the user can see
where, in the active area,
motion has been
detected. This is useful for
optimizing the Percentage
Movement and Sensitivity
settings.
AlarmDwell

Sets the alarm relay and
beeper on duration when
in alarm from a minimum
of 4 seconds, to a
maximum of 60
