Application limits
Advantages
• Using the pressing method it is possible to press in
different numbers of common sheet piles (U-form
and Z-form), always taking into consideration the soil
conditions.
• Depending on the soil conditions installation aids can
be used.
• Immediate start after mounting the unit. The pressing
units utilize the weight of the carrier machine to press
in the first pile.
• The leader mounted pressing unit allows accurate
pressing of the sheet piles.
• Due to the adjustable leader there are no difficulties in
installing corners, no auxiliary construction necessary.
• Gaps in sheet pile walls feasible without additional
provisions and auxiliary constructions.
• Obstacles can be skipped, no additional expenses
necessary to continue working.
• Pressing of coated sheet piles possible without
damaging the coating on the flanges or on the pan.
• When pulling out sheet piles the extraction forces of
the hydraulic cylinders of the pressing unit can be
supported by the pull-out force of the carrier machine.
