Playable folders: up to 6 000
Playable files: up to 65 535, up to 255 for one folder
Playback of copyright protected files: No
Partitioned external storage device (USB, SD): Only
the first playable partition can be played.
There may be a slight delay when starting playback of
audio files on an external storage device (USB, SD)
with numerous folder hierarchies.
There is no compatibility for Multi Media Cards
(MMC).
Compatibility with all SD memory cards is not guaran-
teed.
This unit is not compatible with SD-Audio/SD-Video.
CAUTION
Pioneer accepts no responsibility for data lost on
the USB memory/USB portable audio player/SD
memory card even if that data is lost while using
this unit.
iPod compatibility
This unit supports only the following iPod models.
Supported iPod software versions are shown below.
Older versions may not be supported.

Depending on the generation or version of the iPod,
some functions can not be operated.
Operations may vary depending on the software ver-
sion of iPod.
When using an iPod, iPod Dock Connector to USB
Cable is required.
Pioneer CD-IU50 interface cable is also available. For
details, consult your dealer.

uals.

Sequence of audio files
The user cannot assign folder numbers and
specify playback sequences with this unit.

Folder selection sequence or other operation
may differ depending on the encoding or writ-
ing software.
External storage device (USB, SD)
Playback sequence is the same as recorded
sequence in the external storage device (USB,
SD).
To specify the playback sequence, the follow-
ing method is recommended.
1 Create the file name including numbers that
specify the playback sequence (e.g., 001xxx.
mp3 and 099yyy.mp3).
2 Put those files into a folder.
