Set the camera clock.
1) Use
FG to select the year for [Y].
2)
Press
I to save the setting for [Y].
3) As in Steps 1 and 2, use
FGHI to set [M] (month), [D] (day),
[Time] (hours and minutes), and [Y/M/D] (date order), and then
press the
A button.
• For precise time setting, press the
A button as the time
signal strikes 00 seconds.

World Time You can set your home and destination to change the date and time
display.

the display
language)
You can change the language used for the on-screen display and error
messages from English to another language.

(Monitor
brightness
adjustment)
You can adjust the brightness and
color temperature of the monitor. Color
temperature adjustment will affect only
the monitor display during playback. Use
HI to highlight j (color temperature)
or k (brightness) and
FG to adjust
the value.
Press the
INFO button to switch
between [Natural] and [Vivid] monitor
color display.

Rec View
Choose whether pictures are displayed immediately after shooting and
for how long. This is useful for making a brief check of the picture you
have just taken. Pressing the shutter button halfway while checking the
picture lets you resume shooting immediately.
[1sec] – [20sec]: Selects the number of seconds to display each picture.
Can be set in units of 1 second.
[Off]:
The picture being recorded to the card is not displayed.
[Auto
q]:
Displays the image being recorded, and then switches
to playback mode. This is useful for erasing a picture
after checking it.

q Power
On
[Yes]: If you hold down
q, the camera turns on and starts up in
playback mode.
[No]: The camera does not turn on. Press the n button to turn on
the camera.

Firmware
Your product’s fi rmware version will be displayed. When you make
inquiries about your camera or accessories or when you want to
download software, you will need to state which version of each of the
products you are using.
