Weatherproof feature
This camera is weatherproof, but it cannot be used underwater.
Olympus will not assume any responsibility for malfunction of the
camera caused by water getting inside as a result of misuse by the
user.
The camera is weatherproof and is not damaged by water spray from
any direction.
Observe the following precautions when using the camera.
Water may get inside the camera if the battery compartment/connector
cover is not firmly closed.
If the camera gets splashed, wipe the water off as soon as possible with
a dry cloth.
The rechargeable battery and other camera accessories are not
weatherproof.
Do not wash the
camera with water.
Do not drop the
camera into water.
Do not take pictures
underwater.

Firmly close the battery compartment/connector cover.
