While in shooting mode, use these buttons for quick access to some of the more
commonly used features.

MENU button
Displays the top menu on the monitor.

& button (Macro Mode)
Use macro or super macro mode when taking close-up pictures such as of a flower.

OF button (Exposure Compensation)
Use this setting to overexpose [+] or underexpose [–] a picture.

Y
# button (Flash Mode)
Select from 4 flash modes - AUTO,
! (Red-eye reduction), # (Fill-in flash), or
$ (Flash off).

F button
Press to confirm settings.

NY button (Self-timer)
Select the self-timer to delay the shot approximately 12 seconds from when the shutter
button is pressed.

DISP./
E button
Switch to display or hide the shooting information by pressing the DISP./
E button
repeatedly.
Select a menu item, and press the DISP./
E button to display an explanation of its
function.
