Rapid blinking alter-
nately The tray ran out of paper
while printing. Load media into
Tray 1.
No media in the tray
specified in the printer
driver. Load the appropriate
type of media into
Tray 1.
Media size error
If the “Auto Continue”
has been activated in the
Status Display, the sheet
already fed in, is auto-
matically ejected after a
predetermined time.
Load the appropriate
size media into Tray 1.
Waiting to print the back
of the paper during man-
ual duplex printing Insert the paper so
that the back can be
printed, and then
press the Cancel key
(less than 5 seconds).

Off Blinking Media empty Load media into Tray

Media jam Clear the jam, close
the covers, and then
continue with the print
job.
The drum cartridge or
toner cartridge is not
installed. Install the drum car-
