2.12 SMB Setting Function
When access to the Admin. Setting mode by the Administrator of the ma-
chine is authenticated, the machine enables setting of the NetBIOS Name.
2.12.1 Setting the NetBIOS Name

Do not leave the machine with the Admin. Setting mode setting screen
left shown on the display. If it is absolutely necessary to leave the ma-
chine, be sure first to log off from the Admin. Setting mode.

Call the Network Setting to the screen from the control panel.

Press the [+] or [,] key to display “SMB.”

Press the [ ) ] key.

Press the [+] or [,] key to display “Printer.”

Press the [ ) ] key.

Press the [+] or [,] key to display “NetBIOS Name.”

Press the [Menu/Select] key.

Press the [+] and/or [,] key to enter the NetBIOS Name.

Press the [Menu/Select] key and then press the [Cancel] key.
