6.2 When an Error Message Appears
The following describes the cause and the solution for an error message that
appears during scanning.
Space shortage of the Hard Disk

Check the memory displayed in the touch panel to see if there is a suf-
ficient space left in it.

When there is not a sufficient space left in the memory, reduce the
number of originals to be scanned, or adjust [Resolution] or divide scan
operations for scanning.

Detail
Reducing the number of originals to be scanned or lowering the level of
[Resolution] allows the amount of memory used to be reduced. However,
please note that when the level of [Resolution] is lowered, the image qual-
ity may be deteriorated.
