2.2 Connections
You may use the fax machine with a PC or in a network.
Connecting the fax machine to the PC
1 Place the ferrite core (Kitagawa SFC8) on the cable and close the
core. Place the ferrite core directly behind the jack to the fax
machine.
2 Connect fax machine and PC according to the scheme below.

Note
The interface cable should not exceed 2 meters in length. Also the
cable must be shielded.
