TROUBLESHOOTING

The following table shows the most common problems that may arise when using the machine, the possible causes and the
suggested remedies to solve them.

NOTE
The sweeper is equipped with 3 “minitest” plugs (1, 2 and 3, Fig. AN) to measure the hydraulic pressure on the
component.

WARNING!
The suggested remedies must be performed by qualifi ed personnel, according to the instructions shown in
this Manual, if present, otherwise contact a Nilfi sk-Advance Service Center, where it is possible to consult the
Service Manual.

PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES

BROOMS

The brooms do not clean correctly

The brooms are not adjusted correctly

The brooms do not rotate

The broom speed is not correct

There are oil leaks from the hydraulic system
fi ttings/hoses

The motor is faulty

The accessory system pump does not
pressurize the oil in the circuit

Check the oil pressure in the hydraulic system

SUCTION FAN

The suction fan is noisy

The motor is faulty

Repair

The suction fan turns but it is not effi cient

The dust fi lters are clogged

The suction pipe is clogged

The suction pipe is cut/torn

Replace

The gasket between the suction inlet and the
hopper is broken or misadjusted (replace or
adjust)

There is no pressure at the suction system

SUCTION INLET AND SKIRT

The cylinder gaskets are worn

Check the suction fan control valve assembly

The skirt opening pressure is incorrect

Adjust the opening pressure

The skirt does not open/close
