Shutting down the computer
If you are not going to use the computer for a day or two, shut it down.
To shut down the computer, do either of the following:
• For the Windows 7 operating system:
Click Start → Shut down.
• For the Windows 8 operating system:
1. Move your cursor to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then the
charms is displayed.
2. Click Settings.
3.Select Shut down from the Power menu options.
