7. Close the adapter latch to retain the adapter.
8. Reinstall the PCI riser assembly into the system board.

Replacing the fan assembly
Attention
Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading the “Important safety

This section provides instructions on how to replace the fan assembly.
1. Open the computer cover. See “Opening the cover” on page 5.
2. Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the fan assembly 1 .
3. Disconnect the fan assembly cables from the system board. See “Identifying
parts on the system board” on page 4.
