6. To reattach the frame stand, insert the two tabs on the frame stand into the
corresponding slots in the chassis and slide the frame stand in and down as
shown.
7. Tighten the screw to secure the frame stand to the computer. Then, put the
rubber block back into the hole to protect the screw.
Removing and reattaching the monitor stand
Attention: Do not remove the computer cover or attempt any repairs
before reading the “Important safety information” in the Safety and
Warranty Guide that was included with your computer or in the Hardware
Maintenance Manual (HMM) for the computer. To obtain copies of the
Safety and Warranty Guide or HMM, go to the Support Web site at:
http://support.lenovo.com
This section provides instructions on how to remove and reattach the monitor
stand.
Note: The monitor stand is available only for some models.
To remove and reattach the monitor stand, do the following.
1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices.
2. Turn off the computer and disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets.
3. Disconnect all cables attached to the computer.
