Preparing the Camera
Installing the Battery
1 Remove the battery door by sliding it to
the right.
2 Insert the AAA battery into the
chamber as shown.
3 Replace the battery door, sliding it
closed until it clicks into place.
Note: The camera battery supplies
power to the camera when it is
connected to the PALM handheld, with
the PALMPIX Software running.
The PALM handheld batteries do not
supply power to the camera.
Checking the Battery
You can capture up to 200 pictures on one camera battery.
When you preview a picture (page 11), a battery status symbol
appears on
the PALM handheld if the camera battery is nearly exhausted and needs to be
replaced.
No symbol appears if the battery can adequately power the camera.
