4 Connecting the 611T, 611R
Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your
611T, 611R. After connecting your 611T, 611R, connect its power and
then switch on the power to each device.
To connect the 611T, 611R as illustrated in the example in Figure 3 :
1. On the 611T, connect a composite video source (for example, a video
player) to the INPUT BNC connector.
2. On the 611R, connect the OUTPUT BNC connector to a composite video
acceptor (for example, a video recorder).
3. Connect a fiber optic cable from the TO FIBER connector on the 611T to the
FROM FIBER connector on the 611R.
4. Connect a 12V DC power supply to each of the units (not shown in the
illustration).
5. As needed, adjust the HF and GAIN trimmers on each unit with a small
screwdriver.
The units come pre-adjusted from the factory for optimum performance and transparent
operation. Adjustment is not normally required if all cables and connectors are working
properly.
