Gently pull the grille forward (fig. 4). If desired the grille can be removed by disconnecting the two front
turn signal bulbs and gently popping the grille from its lower retaining clips. (Fig. 5 – 6)

Insert the backing plate through the lower opening of the top grill support (Fig. 7)
Note: The backing plate’s safety tab should point towards the motor. (Fig. 8)

Secure the front lock plate with the two screws supplied. Align the inner plate and secure one side of the
lock plate (do not tighten). Align the inner plate’s second mounting hole and install second screw. Tighten
securely. (Fig. 9 -10)
