8 Fault Tracing
This section includes different fault scenarios and steps to follow to trace the fault.
The EPC TA150 AM is not working properly, and the
power LED is off
1. Is the power voltage correct?
2. Does the power supply deliver enough current?
3. Check the fuse.
4. Check the power card.
5. Is the power card correctly mounted?
The EPC TA150 AM is not communicating
1. Check the communication cable between the units.
2. Check the communication ports on the CPU board.
The EPC TA150 AM is working but the backlight is off
1. Check the backlight dimming.
2. Check that the backlight is connected to the power card.
3. Replace the backlight according to the
Replacing the Backlight section.
4. Check the DC/AC on the power card.
The EPC TA150 AM is not working, the backlight is off
but the power LED is on
1. Check the backlight dimming.
2. Check the CPU board for burned components.
3. Download new firmware to the Panel PC.
The EPC TA150 AM does not include the latest
software
1. Follow the instructions in section Update or Customize Software .
