Machine Foundation
Thoroughness of detail must be stressed with
all foundation work to ensure a stable unit
installation, eliminating possibilities of
excessive vibration during extract.
The machine must be installed on a smooth,
level surface so that the entire base of the
machine is supported and rests on the
mounting surface. (Do not support the machine
on only four points.)
Static and dynamic loads on the floor or
foundation are shown in the table below.
This table can be used as a reference when
designing floors and foundations.
*These figures are approximate values only.
Ensure that the machine is installed on a
level floor of sufficient strength and that the
recommended clearances for inspection
and maintenance are provided. Never allow
the inspection and maintenance space to
be blocked.
