Thank you for buying the ASUS ® P4P800S-X motherboard!
The ASUS P4P800S-X motherboard, based on the Intel ® 848P MCH chipset
supporting 800FSB that delivers a host of new features and latest technologies
making it another standout in the long line of ASUS quality motherboards!
Before you start installing the motherboard, and hardware devices on it, check the
items in your package with the list below.

Latest processor technology
The motherboard supports the latest Intel ® Pentium ® 4 Processor via a 478-pin surface
mount ZIF socket. The Pentium ® 4 processor with 512KB cache on 0.13 micron
process and the 1MB L2 cache on 0.09 micron processor includes a 800/533/400
MHz system bus, Intel
® Hyper-Threading Technology and the FMB2 power design
that allows up to 3.6+ GHz of core frequency. See page 1-7.
DDR400 (PC3200) support
DDR400 (PC3200), the latest and fastest DDR memory standard, supports
bandwidth of up to 3.2 GB/s to provide enhanced system performance. See 1-9.
