3 Make sure that the HotSync ®
operation check boxes for all product
updates are selected.
4 Click [Add changes to Install Tool].
The product updates selected in step 3 are registered on the Install
Manager window.
5 Click [Now] to register these product updates with the HotSync
®
operation.
6 Perform the HotSync
®
operation.
7 Verify that no errors occurred during the HotSync
®
operation.
Your CLIÉ handheld is restored with the applications and data to the state
before the last hard reset.
Note
When you restore backup data and applications to your CLIÉ handheld, the data currently
saved on your CLIÉ handheld will be overwritten with the backup data. Any data created or
edited after you saved the backup will be lost.

Problems with image files/movies
B When you shoot a subject such as a light or a candle flame, a vertical band
may appear. This is called “smear” and is not a malfunction.
B Adjust the Flicker control setting.

Application Manual” (HTML format).
After a hard reset, all updated data and applications on my CLIÉ
