No sound or only a low sound is heard.
• Set [HiFi SOUND] to [STEREO] (p. 45).
• Turn up the volume (p. 25).
• Adjust [AUDIO MIX] from the [ST2] (additional sound) side until the sound is heard
appropriately (p. 53).
• If you are using an S VIDEO plug, make sure the red and white plugs of the A/V connecting
cable are also connected (p. 32).
The sound breaks off.
• Clean the head using the cleaning cassette (optional) (p. 84).

• The tape you are playing was recorded without setting the date and time.

• You cannot use [FADER] together with [SELF TIMER].
