Selecting AIBO’s Voice
AIBO changes its voice between “Voice 1” and “Voice 2”: it uses “Voice 1” to
read E-mail messages (excluding a phrase or sentence quoted from another mail
message) and Web pages while it uses “Voice 2” to read a quoted phrase or
sentence. Note that AIBO switches its voice also between these two types of voices
when the number of marks indicating a quoted phrase/sentence changes.
Open the Voice tab from the Setup dialog box to select a voice used for “Voice 1”
or “Voice 2”.
Note
AIBO may not change its voice to read a quotation depending on the mail format.
Select the voice type, Voice 1 or Voice 2.

Click the Setting button on the Voice
tab.
The Voice Settings dialog box appears on
the screen.
