Connections (See fig. C )
Connect the system to the source equipment.
To connect the system to a stereo phone-type
headphones jack, use the optional Sony connecting
cord RK-G138.
When the system is connected to a monaural
jack of a radio, etc., the sound may not come
through the right speaker. In such a case, use the
optional Sony plug adaptor PC-236MS. The sound
will come through both speakers.
How to Use
(See fig. D )
1 Rotate the speakers as illustrated.
2 Rotate the stand 90° and lock it in place.
3 Set the system on a flat surface.
4 Set the POWER switch to ON.
The POWER indicator lights up. You can adjust
the volume by adjusting the connected source
equipment.
After listening
Set the POWER switch to OFF/DIRECT. The POWER
indicator goes off.
To operate this system without the built-
in power amplifier
Set the POWER switch to OFF/DIRECT.
Note
Turn off the WALKMAN’s MEGA BASS or Discman’s
BASS BOOST function as they may cause sound
distortion.

Raccorder le système à l’appareil source.
Pour raccorder le système à une prise de casque
stéréo 6,35, utiliser le cordon de liaison optionnel
Sony RK-G138.
Quand le système est raccordé à la prise
monophonique d’une radio ou d’un autre
appareil, le son risque de ne pas sortir par le haut-
parleur droit. Dans ce cas, utiliser l’adaptateur de
fiche optionnel Sony PC-236MS. Le son sortira des
deux haut-parleurs.
Utilisation (Voir fig. D )
1 Faire tourner les haut-parleurs comme indiqué
sur l’illustration.
2 Faire tourner le pied à 90° et le verrouille dans
cette position.
3 Poser le système sur une surface plane.
4 Régler l’interrupteur POWER sur ON.
Le témoin POWER s’allume. Vous pouvez
régler le volume au moyen des commandes de
l’appareil source raccordé.
Après l’écoute
Régler l’interrupteur POWER sur OFF/DIRECT. Le
témoin POWER s’éteint.
Pour faire fonctionner ce système sans
l’amplificateur de puissance intégré
Régler l’interrupteur POWER sur OFF/DIRECT.
Remarque
Désactiver la fonction MEGA BASS du WALKMAN ou
la fonction BASS BOOST du Discman car elles
pourraient provoquer de la distorsion.

Conecte el sistema al equipo fuente.
Para conectar el sistema a una toma para
auriculares de tipo estéreo, utilice un cable
conector RK-G138 Sony opcional.
Si conecta los altavoces a una toma monoaural
de una radio, etc., es posible que el sonido no salga
a través del canal derecho. En tal caso, utilice un
adaptador de clavija PC-236MS Sony opcional. El
sonido saldrá a través de ambos altavoces.
Forma de utilización

1 Gire los altavoces como se muestra en la
ilustración.
2 Gire el soporte 90° y bloquéelo.
3 Coloque el sistema sobre una superficie plana.
4 Ponga el interruptor POWER en ON.
Se encenderá el indicador POWER. Usted
podrá ajustar el volumen en el equipo fuente
conectado.
Después de la escucha
Ponga el interruptor POWER en OFF/DIRECT. El
indicador POWER se apagará.
Para utilizar este sistema sin el
amplificador de potencia incorporado
Ponga el interruptor POWER en OFF/DIRECT.
Nota
Desactive la función MEGA BASS del WALKMAN o
BASS BOOST del Discman, ya que podría producir
distorsión.
