- 1 Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to select “FM” or “AM”.
- 2 Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until “AUTO” appears in the display.
- 3 Press +/– (or TUNING +/– on the unit).

- 1 Prepare the sound source you want to play.
- 2 Adjust the volume.
- 3 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.
- 4 Press ./> repeatedly until “PLAY” appears, then press ENTER.
- 5 Set the time to start playing.
- 6 Set the time to stop playing following the same procedure as step 5.
- 7 Press ./> repeatedly until the desired sound source appears.
- 8 Press ENTER.
- 9 Press ?/1 to turn off the system.

- 1 Tune in the preset radio station (see “Listening to a preset station” on page13).
- 2 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.
- 3 Press ./> repeatedly until “REC” appears, then press ENTER.
- 4 Set the time to start recording.
- 5 Set the time to stop recording following the same procedure as step 4.
- 6 Load a recordable tape.
- 7 Press ?/1 to turn off the system.
