World Alarm Clock
The World Alarm Clock application is software to use your
CLIÉ handheld as a world clock. You need to install the
World Alarm Clock application from the Installation CD-
ROM to your CLIÉ handheld.
In the World Alarm Clock application, you can do the
following:
• View the date and time of multiple regions on a single screen.
Daylight Saving Time settings are also available.
• Use your CLIÉ handheld as an alarm clock to alert you at a
particular day and time. You can also set your favorite sound as its
alarm.
CLIÉ Remote Commander
The CLIÉ Remote Commander application is used to
operate various remote-controlled devices such as a TV,
VCR, DVD player, or AV amplifier with just your CLIÉ
handheld.
In the CLIÉ Remote Commander application, you can do
the following:
• Use your CLIÉ handheld as a remote control for up to four devices,
switching among them with just a single tap on the short-cut button.
You can also control other devices that have been defined on your
CLIÉ handheld by choosing them from the Select menu.
• Add remote-controlled devices by installing the CLIÉ Remote
Commander definition files from the Installation CD-ROM to your
CLIÉ handheld.
Sound Utility
The Sound Utility application is used to play back and
manage sound files imported from your computer.
In the Sound Utility application, you can do the following:
• Play back, delete, and change the name of the sound file.
