avail abl e . Based on th e fe a ture s of your audio s ource , your s e l e ction of one
of th e s e s ch e m e s w i l l de te rm ine th e ope rational m ode o f your s y s te m .
Do not ins e rt th e p o w e r pl ug into an AC outl e t until al l conne ctions are m ade .
Turn off th e audio source de vice b e fore conne cting its output(s) to th e 4100
Input(s ).
Color Coding: Notice th at th e Input jack s on th e s ubwoofe r are col or
code d to pre ve nt e rrors . Th e pl ugs th at are i n s e rte d into th e s e jack s h ave
m atch ing col ors. As an exampl e , th e Le ft Front Sate l l ite s pe ak e r h as a brown

Gaming setup:
1. Conne ct th e orange pl ug from th e RIGH T FRONT Sate l l ite i n to th e jack
m ark e d RIGH T FRONT on th e Subwoofe r; re pe at th is proce dure for th e LEFT
FRONT Sate l l ite , conne cting th e brown pl ug from th e LEFT FRONT Sate l l ite
to th e jack m ark e d LEFT FRONT on th e Subwoofe r.
2. Conne ct th e purpl e pl ug from th e RIGH T REAR Sate l l ite into th e jack
m ark e d RIGH T REAR on th e Subwoofe r; re pe a t th i s p roce dure for th e LEFT
REAR Sate l l ite , conne cting th e gol d pl ug from th e LEFT REAR Sate l l ite to th e
jack m a rk e d LE FT REAR on th e Subwoofe r.
3. Conne ct th e gray DIN pl ug fro m th e Sys te m Control l e r unit into th e DIN
jack m a rk e d CONTROLLER on th e Subwoofe r. Note th at th e DIN pl ug h as
an arrow . Th e arrow s h oul d be face up for corre ct ins e rtion into th e DIN jack
on th e Subwoofe r.

5. Th e 4100 provide s tw o Inputs l abe l e d FRONT and REAR, l ocate d on th e
Subwoofe r. Com p u te r gam ing s ound cards h ave at l e a s t 2 outputs . M o s t
ofte n, th e outputs w i l l be m a rk e d as front output, and re ar output. Som e
s l igh tl y diffe re nt te rminol ogy m ay be u s e d . H o w e ve r, th e s ound card
instructions wil l provide i n form a tion so th at you can de te rm ine w h at outputs to
u s e w i th a tw o Input s p e a k e r s ys te m . M a k e th e conne ctions using th e two
6.5 ft. (5 m ) gre e n and bl ack cabl e s w i th m atch ing 3.5 m m s te re o pl ugs on
e ach e nd. Th e s e cabl e s a re incl ude d w i th th e 4100 syste m .
6. Conne ct th e p o w e r cord (at back of Subwoofe r) to an AC W al l s o c k e t.
7. Th e unit is now re ady to ope rate . Turn on th e audio source de vice .
