Î Open the fill opening of the fresh water
tank or attach the fill hose to a water tap.
Î Fill the fresh water tank with hot water
(max. 60°C, capacity 38 liters).
Î Pour in detergent.
Î Close the fill opening of the fresh water
tank or pull the fill hose off of the water
tap and slide it back into the appliance.
If you require further information please re-
quest the product information sheet and the
DIN safety data sheet for the respective
cleaning agent.

The appliance can be pushed forward or
pulled backwards during operation.
Î Vacuum loose dirt with a vacuum clean-
er prior to cleaning.
Î Insert the mains plug into the socket.

Risk of damage!
Check the object to be cleaned prior to us-
ing the appliance in an inconspicuous place
for colour fastness and water resistance.
Î Pull the push handle lock out and swivel
the push handle into position A.
Î Set the spray mode key to interval
spraying.
Î Set the key selection of process to RM
application with vacuuming.
Î Set the appliance switch to normal oper-
ation.
Î Run across the surface to be cleaned in
overlapping paths. Pull the appliance
backwards during this procedure (do
not push).
Î To spray on the detergent solution,
three keys must be pressed on the push
handle for interval spraying during oper-
ation.
Î Pull the push handle lock out and swivel
the push handle into position B.
Î To spray on the detergent solution, set
the spray mode key to continuous
spray.
Î Set the key selection of process to RM
application with vacuuming.
Î Set the appliance switch to normal oper-
ation.
Î Run across the surface to be cleaned in
overlapping paths.
Pretreat heavily soiled carpets prior to
cleaning.
Î Pull out the lock of the push handle on
the handle and swivel the push handle
in position A or B, depending on the size
of the area to be cleaned.
Î To spray detergent solution, set the key
for the spray mode to interval spraying
or continuous spray, depending on the
size of the area to be cleaned.
Î Set the key selection of process to RM
application without vacuuming.
Î Run across the surface to be cleaned in
overlapping paths.
Î Let the detergent solution soak for 5 to
10 minutes.
Î Set the key selection of process to RM
application with vacuuming.
Î Run across the surface to be cleaned in
overlapping paths.
Î If the waste water reservoir is full, switch
the appliance switch to "OFF".
Î Move the appliance to an appropriate
drain.
Î Hold the drain hose for waste water into
the drain, remove the cover and empty
the waste water reservoir.

Warning
Please observe the local provisions regard-
ing the wastewater treatment.
Î Connect the provided adapter to the de-
tergent hose of the accessory tools.

Î Pull the suction hose out of the dome.
Î Insert the suction hose of the accessory
tool into the dome instead of the suction
hose.
Î Connect the coupling of the detergent
hose on the appliance to the detergent
hose of the accessory tool.
Î Set the appliance switch to operation
with manual nozzle - the suction turbine
will start.
Î Use the lever on the accessory tool to
spray on detergent solution.
Important
When unplugging the accessory tools, the
adapter must be removed from the appli-
ance, so that the water output on the appli-
ance is closed.
Recommendation: Leave the adapter on
the hose of the accessory tool.
