Do not use this appliance while under
the influence of medications or alcohol.
–
Do not disassemble safety and protec-
tion mechanisms or set them out of op-
eration.
–
Secure the work area clearly and pro-
tect it from unauthorised access. Erect
warning signs and fenches.
–
Only the operator may be present in the
work area (area of 10 meters).
–
When working on scaffolds, there is a risk of
falling caused by pushback forces. The op-
erator must be protected against freezing
by the proper measures.
–
Only perform work on stable ground.
The operator must always have a
steady stance.
–
The workplace must be clean and or-
ganised.
–
When working in enclosed areas, the
national directions for work safety must
be adhered to.
–
The maximum operating pressure of
the accessories must not be exceeded.
–
The nozzles used and the operating
pressure must be adapted so that the
occurring return push can be handled
by the operator. Return forces must not
exceed 250 N (25kp).
–
Spray units held by hand must be
equipped with an additional body sup-
port if the return forces of 150 N (15 kp)
are exceeded.
–
The accessories for pipe cleaning must
be marked so that the nozzle can be de-
tected immediately. The distance be-
tween the nozzle and the markings is
500 mm.
–
The accessories for pipe cleaning must
be inserted at least 500 mm into the
pipe to be cleaned.
–
Never draw in fluids containing solvents
or undiluted acids and solvents! This in-
cludes petrol, paint thinner and heating
oil. The spray mist thus generated is
highly inflammable, explosive and poi-
sonous. Do not use acetone, undiluted
acids and solvents as they are aggres-
sive towards the materials from which
the appliance is made.

If the appliance is used in hazardous ar-
eas (e.g. filling stations) the corre-
sponding safety provisions must be
observed. It is not allowed to use the
appliance in hazardous locations.
–
All current-conducting parts in the work-
ing area must be protected against jet
water.
–
The lever of the hand spray gun must
not be locked during the operation.
–
Wear appropriate protective clothing to
protect yourself from spattering parts.
–
Never direct the water jet on human be-
ings, animals, the appliance or electri-
cal parts.
–
The jet must not be directed at other
persons or directed by the user at him/
herself to clean clothing or footwear.
–
Do not spray materials containing as-
bestos or other health-hazardous sub-
stances.
–
With short spray lances, there is a risk
of injury, as a hand can accidentally
come in contact with the high pressure
jet. It is prohibited to use spray lances
that are less than 75 cm long.
–
When using detergents, the material
data safety sheet issued by the deter-
gent manufacturer must be adhered to,
especially the instructions regarding
personal protective equipment.
–
Prior to cleaning, a risk assessment
must be performed for the surface to be
cleaned to determine the safety and
health requirements. The respective re-
quired protective measures must be
taken.
–
Use only those detergents approved by
the manufacturer of the appliance.
–
Do not use the recommended deter-
gents in an undiluted state. The prod-
ucts are safe for operations as they do
not contain any environment hazardous
substances.
