Troubleshooting
No Power:
-
Check the unit is plugged in and switched on,
-
Check the fuse in the plug,
- The
ROFROST ECO has an internal overload circuit. Unplug the unit and leave for 2 minutes
to re-set.
ROFROST ECO fails to freeze pipes:
Among other things, additional influences can have an effect on the length of freezing time:
-
The water in the pipe must be static,
-
Inadequate heat-conductive paste is applied for the contact between the freezer jaw, the
pipe or the reducing insert and the pipe,
-
The freezer jaws are incorrectly attached to the pipes,
-
Wall thickness of the pipes,
- Pipe
material,
-
Contaminated water i.e. a rust inhibitor, which can act as an anti-freeze,
-
Temperature of the water to be frozen.
-
Ambient temperature (e.g. solar irradiation)
-
Operating temperature of the equipment

Accessories
The relevant accessories and an order form can be found from Page 98 onwards.

Disposal
The heat conductive paste is water based endemic and ecologically friendly and can be recycled
or disposed of with normal waste. Cloths contaminated by the paste can be washed or disposed
of in the normal way without any concerns.
Components of the unit are recyclable material and should be put to recycling. For this purpose
registered and certified recycling companies are available. For an environmentalfriendly disposal
of the non-recyclable parts (e.g. electronic waste) please contact your local waste disposal
authority.
For EU countries only:
Do not dispose of electric tools with domestic waste. In accordance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation as national law, electric tools that are no longer serviceable must be
collected separately and utilised for environmentally compatible recycling
.
